The app makes it easy to record and convert audio into perfectly transcribed text anywhere and allows you to complete the entire ordering process in-app as well.<\/p>\n<p>While it stores your audio recordings that have been sent in to be transcribed, we&#8217;ve also made it possible to download your original recordings from the TranscribeMe app to make another backup on your computer.<\/p>\n<p>Read on to find out how you can transfer your audio from the app, for both <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.transcribeme.transcriptionapp&amp;hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Android<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/transcribeme-fast-accurate\/id543407200?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iPhone<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Transfer Recordings from iPhone<\/h2>\n<p>1. Plug your iPhone into your computer and wait for iTunes to launch.<\/p>\n<p>2. Audio files recorded to the TranscribeMe app have a <b>.caf<\/b> extension. Select where you would like to save your file on your computer and <b>Save<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>8. Head to where you saved your file. Right-click to select <b>Open With<\/b> and choose <b>Quicktime <\/b>to open your audio.<\/p>\n<h2>Transfer Recordings from Android<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>For Mac Users:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>1. Download the <b>Android File Transfer<\/b> and launch. Then connect your phone to your computer via USB.<\/p>\n<p>2. Access your audio recordings by going to:<\/p>\n<p><b>Android &gt; Data &gt; com.transcribeme.transcriptionapp &gt; Files<\/b><\/p>\n<p>3. Locate your file based on the data\/time of its creation and Save.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>For PC Users:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>1. If you haven&#8217;t done so already, you&#8217;ll need to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/192732\/android-usb-connections-explained-mtp-ptp-and-usb-mass-storage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">enable USB mass storage<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>2.
